No credit card
We don't ask for a card, a name, an address or a phone number. An email and a password are enough. There is nothing for us to charge.
No length or size limit
We transcribe the whole recording, not the first 10 minutes. A file can be up to 5 GB, the same as on a PRO account.
We never delete your files
Transcripts stay in your library for as long as you want. They don't expire after 30 days or after a year, they are gone only when you delete them.

Free transcripts run on the same models as paid ones, with speaker detection and timestamps included.
The one catch: exporting long recordings
We transcribe a recording longer than 30 minutes in full, and in the app you can read it, play it from any sentence and search it. Downloading it as text, subtitles or a spreadsheet, or copying the whole text at once, needs a PRO account. Recordings up to 30 minutes export for free.

Yes. The free account transcribes one file a day, forever, with no credit card. You pay only if you want more files a day or to export recordings longer than 30 minutes.
Is there a length limit on free transcription?
No. We transcribe the whole recording whatever its length, and a file can be up to 5 GB. Only export is limited: on a free account you can read and play recordings longer than 30 minutes in the app, but downloading them as text or subtitles needs PRO.
How often can I add a file for free?
One file every day. You can add the next one 24 hours after the last.
Do I need a credit card or personal details?
No. An email and a password are all you need to sign up. We don't ask for your name, address, phone number or a credit card.
How long do you keep my transcripts?
There is no time limit. Files stay in your library until you delete them, on a free account too.
What happens to my files if I cancel PRO?
Nothing. The account switches to free and all your files stay in your library.
Is free transcription worse than paid?
No. It uses the same models, detects speakers and adds timestamps. PRO accounts only get a faster transcription speed.
Can I transcribe a YouTube video for free?
Yes, just paste the link. The exception is videos with regional restrictions, which need a PRO account.
